World's top 100 museums and galleries

The Art Newspaper's annual attendance survey for 2012 put the Louvre first with almost 10 million visitors. Seven ASEMUS member museums made the top 100, together drawing nearly 20 million visitors: British Museum, London (3rd, 5.58m); Victoria & Albert Museum, London (11th, 3.23m); National Museum of Korea, Seoul (12th, 3.13m); National Folk Museum of Korea, Seoul (15th, 2.64m); Shanghai Museum (19th, 1.94m); National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh (20th, 1.89m); and Musée du Quai Branly, Paris (37th, 1.31m).
