International Forum of Young Museum Professionals: Call for grant applications

ICOM and ICOM China organized the 2018 Young Museum Professionals Forum, "Museums as cutting-edge spaces," in Fuzhou, China, 23-26 November 2018, focused on museums' role in local traditional culture, ICT and museums' new social image, and youth/regional cultural sustainability.

ICOM China offered travel grants (flights, accommodation, meals, a cultural excursion) to ICOM members from category 2-4 countries, aged 35 or under by end-2018, fluent in English, nominated by a National or International ICOM Committee (max two nominees each), with a passport valid through May 2019 and a commitment to present at the Forum. Applications were due by midnight CET, 10 September 2018.
