National Hangeul Museum, Korea

Opened October 9, 2014 — Hangeul Day, a Korean national holiday — dedicated to the Korean alphabet, created in 1443. The museum holds over 10,000 Hangeul-related objects spanning from that origin to the present, presented through permanent exhibitions on Hangeul's history and culture, special exhibitions, an archive system, a learning center and a children's museum, aiming to be one of Korea's flagship cultural institutions.

Permanent Collections: documents, books, metal type, printing woodblocks and other objects related to Hangeul.
