
VCM Board of Trustees meets in Stockholm, Sweden in October 2011 to consider the 2011 yearly report and to adopt plans for 2012
Why?
The VCM is about sharing. Objects that are physically far apart and spread out in museum collections all over the Eurasian continent are brought together in the virtual world.
What?
The VCM is collection of Masterpieces of Asian cultural heritage from collections in Asian and European museums. Images and texts are provided by curators of participating museums; the project is for museums and by museums. Besides an objects database, the VCM also features exhibitions and research projects. A Calendar of Events provides information about temporary exhibitions in the participating museums.
