ASEMUS: Challenges and Priorities in 2014

Why is ASEMUS unique? How does it benefit your museum? What do you hope to achieve at the next General Conference?

Some members of the ASEMUS Executive Committee were asked about these questions on the occasion of their last meeting, in Dublin, October 2013. In the resulting video, ASEMUS Chair Kim Youngna (National Museum of Korea); Vice-Chair Fionnuala Croke (Chester Beatty Library, Dublin, Ireland) and Executive Committee member Steven Engelsman (Weltmuseum Wien, Austria) provide a range of arguments on the meaning and activities of the network.

Some of these issues and learning opportunities will also be on the agenda as ASEMUS members meet on 24-27 September 2014 in Vienna, on the occasion of the network’s sixth General Conference.
