New UNESCO Report on the Implementation of the 2015 Recommendation on Museums

UNESCO published a report assessing progress on its 2015 Recommendation Concerning the Protection and Promotion of Museums and Collections, drawing on 56 national reports and a January 2019 expert meeting. It reviews national legislation and statistics, how member states implement policies supporting museums' core functions, emerging challenges, and examples of good national practice.
